Lake Elmo Events
Lake Elmo has a growing events calendar as the community develops its identity. After a busy stretch that included the Washington County Fair, National Night Out, the Summer Sizzler, and the Northern Lights Dressage Show, things are shifting into early fall mode. The Lake Elmo Farmers Market has wrapped up for the season, and the focus turns toward fall events at Lake Elmo Park Reserve and the surrounding area.

Coming Up
- Washington County Bluegrass Festival — The annual festival at Lake Elmo Park Reserve. Typically held in early fall. Check Discover Stillwater for the confirmed 2026 date.
- Wild Wanderers: Costume Hike — Saturday, October 24, at Lake Elmo Park Reserve. A family-friendly Halloween hike through the woods.
- Grape Stomp at Saint Croix Vineyards -- September 12-13 at 6428 Manning Ave N in Stillwater, a short drive west. Minnesota's original grape stomp with stomping competitions, vineyard tours, live music, and wine tasting.
- Waldfest 60th Anniversary -- Monday, September 7 (Labor Day) in the City of Grant near Stillwater. A free Bavarian party in the pines at the Gasthaus. A great weekend drive from Lake Elmo.

Just Wrapped Up
- Stillwater Flea Market (August 29) -- Vintage goods, antiques, handmade items, and local finds around the Washington County Fairgrounds.
- Woodbury Days (August 28-30) -- The family festival at Ojibway Park closed out with live entertainment, food, carnival rides, and fireworks.
- Northern Lights Dressage Show (August 21-23) — A regional horse show at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve Equestrian Center drawing riders from across the Midwest.
- Washington County Fair (July 29-August 2) — The 155th edition of Washington County's biggest annual event wrapped up at the Fairgrounds. Over 75,000 visitors.
- Lake Elmo Night Out (August 4) — Community gathering at Lions Park with local safety workers. Kids explored emergency vehicles and met first responders.
- Lake Elmo Summer Sizzler (August 8) — 5K, 10K, 15K, and kids' race at Lake Elmo Park Reserve.
- Free Hands-Only CPR Class (August 8) — Held at the Lake Elmo Fire Department.
Lake Elmo Farmers Market
Saturdays, 9 AM-1 PM at Lake Elmo Elementary (11030 Stillwater Blvd N). Local produce, meat, eggs, flowers, and artisan breads. The 2026 season has wrapped up for the year. We will update this page when the 2027 season dates are announced. Minnesota Grown listing
